After decades of having floral dishes, I'm happy to have classic white minimalist simple dishes. The best part is they are made in USA and I don't have to worry about them not being safe to use. These are thick and heavy and feel good to hold. The salad plate and cereal bowls are a bit larger than my previous dishes and will be more useful because of it. If you are looking for white, you should know that depending on the light and what you have them next to, these are not a very bright crisp white. They are definitely white but have more of a putty undertone if you put them next to a bright white. (This may be something that most people don't notice.) They look great mixed with my colorful dishes too. I also got the larger "meal bowls" and they match perfectly. Delivery was speedy and everything was wrapped well with no damage. These are high quality "forever dishes" and a real find for people that have been looking for non-toxic dishes that aren't glass.
