The Acapulco pattern is one of the most recognized pieces in the HF Coors lineup and one of the most demanding to make. Each plate is painted by hand on a wheel by a skilled HF Coors artist, requiring a steady hand and years of practice to lay down the signature pinstripes and swirling bands of color with consistency. No two pieces are exactly alike, which is the point.
The palette draws from the famous Mexican resort town: the deep blue-green of the Pacific, the saturated reds and yellows of tropical birds, the lush greens of jungle canopy. It is a pattern built for color, for warmth, and for tables that are meant to feel alive. HF Coors loved this pattern enough to paint the outside of the Tucson factory to match.
Every piece is made from the same vitrified ceramic body that has defined HF Coors since 1925 -- lead-free, restaurant-grade, and built to handle daily use without fading or chipping.
