Our proprietary clay body is vitrified at high temperatures to create a dense, nonporous surface designed to resist crazing, staining, and flavor absorption with proper care.

Safe for: Microwave, dishwasher, oven, broiler, and freezer. For freezer or oven use, allow the piece to return fully to room temperature between temperature extremes and avoid sudden temperature changes.

Due to the nature of glazes and finishing techniques, each piece is one of a kind. The layering of sage green, deep navy, and warm terracotta colors will vary slightly from mug to mug. This is not a defect. It is what makes each piece yours.

Blue Bayou is an artisan glaze that reacts in the kiln, meaning the colors develop and shift during the kiln firing process. Unlike standard glazes that produce uniform results, a reactive glaze like our artisan interacts with the heat and atmosphere inside the kiln, creating organic transitions between colors. The result is a surface with real depth and movement that you can see and feel.
